DRISHTAL brings together Jaipur’s relationship with gemstones, Rajasthan’s living handcraft traditions and a quieter, more contemporary way of wearing silver.
THE PINK CITY
Jaipur knows stones by heart.
For generations, Jaipur has been shaped by gem traders, cutters, setters, silversmiths and polishers. Stones arrive with different colours, inclusions and histories. Trained eyes read those differences and skilled hands find the form that lets each stone speak.
That ecosystem is the starting point for DRISHTAL—not as decoration borrowed from heritage, but as knowledge carried forward.

We work in 925 sterling silver—a precious metal loved for its luminous restraint, versatility and ability to hold fine detail. Our natural gemstones are selected for colour, pattern and individual presence rather than artificial uniformity.
No two natural stones are completely identical. Small differences in shade and internal pattern are not flaws; they are the signature of material made by nature.

Craft is a sequence, not a single step.
One piece may move between several specialists before it is ready to wear.
Shaping the foundation
925 sterling silver combines precious silver with enough strength for wearable jewellery. The karigar forms, files and refines the structure so the setting feels balanced and the edges are comfortable against skin.
Reading natural variation
A natural stone is assessed for colour, pattern, inclusions, face and suitability. The setting must respond to the actual stone—not an imagined perfectly uniform copy.
Secured by hand
Bezels, prongs and halos are checked under close view. Pressure must be controlled: firm enough to hold the stone, considered enough to protect it.
Light around the centre
Where a design uses white accents, their count and placement follow the selected physical piece. They frame the natural centre stone rather than compete with it.
Touch, reflection, movement
Edges are softened, surfaces polished, hooks and chains checked, and pairs balanced. Rings are inspected for symmetry; earrings for fastening and movement; pendants for chain alignment.

Rajasthan’s architecture, arches, textiles, metalwork and sense of ceremony influence our eye. But DRISHTAL is not about reproducing the past. We translate that inheritance into clean silhouettes, wearable scale and pieces that move easily between an Indian festive outfit and a modern western wardrobe.
